Translating to Prized Fighters, Los Luchadores is one of many top lots from the Salaverrias family – originating from a cross between Pacas and Maragogype, the Pacamara variety frequently dominates Cup of Excellence competitions for its high cup quality. Immense attention to detail during the growing, picking, and processing results in a consistent and elevated cup profile, so the name Prized Fighters was a natural choice – with hand painted coffee sacks to highlight the prizewinning luchadores!

This lot was grown and harvested from two of the farms in the Salaverrias network (JASAL), Finca San Fransisco and their largest farm, El Molino. The cherries are harvested, transported to their centralised processing mill, Beneficio Los Cruces. The cherries undergo a natural anaerobic fermentation, then soaked Kenyan style, for 10 hours. The soak is repeated in clean water for improved cup clarity and profile depth.

We currently only deliver within the UK and do not ship to Ireland or internationally. Orders under £25 incur a standard UK delivery fee of £3.50.

We ship orders using either Royal Mail 24 or DPD. Both services aim to deliver the next working day where possible, but please be aware that this is an aim and not a guarantee.
