Description
Nespresso® Original Compatible Capsules
Based on the founding blend created by David Thomson in 1841, this blend comprises of Colombian and Brazil. This classic recipe delivers a delicate sweetness and caramel mouthfeel.
Our 1841 coffee is now available in fully recyclable aluminium capsules, delivering the same balanced, dependable cup you know, with the convenience of pod brewing. Designed for espresso machines using the Nespresso® Original system, these capsules produce a smooth, rounded espresso with gentle sweetness, low acidity and a clean finish. Ideal as a straight espresso or with milk.
What's in the box?
Each box contains 14 aluminium capsules, sealed for freshness and consistency from the first cup to the last.
Why aluminium capsules?
Aluminium provides an excellent oxygen and light barrier, helping preserve flavour and aroma.
Our capsules are fully recyclable through standard aluminium recycling streams where facilities exist. Please check local council guidance.

Order Dispatch
Orders placed before 8am on working days are typically dispatched the same day. Please note that we do not process orders over the weekend.
Complimentary UK Delivery for Orders Above £25
We currently only deliver within the UK and do not ship to Ireland or internationally. Orders under £25 incur a standard UK delivery fee of £3.50.
We ship orders using either Royal Mail 24 or DPD. Both services aim to deliver the next working day where possible, but please be aware that this is an aim and not a guarantee.

At checkout, you may choose to collect your order. We’ll notify you when it’s ready, usually within 2 working days.
Please note, our Burnfield Avenue roastery is now closed to the public. Collections are available exclusively from our Giffnock shop on Fenwick Road. Check our locations page for shop opening hours.
