Meladis Reyes

Meladis Reyes’ farm is very young — she has only been producing coffee for 2 years. After passing by coffee farms on her commute to work each day for 20 years, Meladis expanded her own land four years ago with the help of her neighbours and family, and a loan to begin coffee production.
Meladis has begun her coffee farm by planting the Parainema variety, and she has been working closely with the Beneficio San Vicente, a coffee mill that supports microlots like Meladis’, and facilitates incredible producer/buyer relationships, helping these small lots of coffee reach roasters around the world.
During the off-season, Meladis will begin building her own wet mill. We are very excited to have some of this coffee so early in her production career, and we cannot wait to see how her coffees develop year after year.
