Situated in the Gedeo region of southern Ethiopia, the Hama co-operative is an excellent example of both the historic quality of Ethiopian coffees, and the benefit of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU) on small-scale farms. Hama joined the union in order to access a more quality-focused international coffee market, investing in harvesting and processing equipment and workers, and the results are evident in this coffee. Our roast showcases the exciting quality of the beans, bringing sweet, ripe citrus, and complex floral notes to the cup.
