Description

Situated a mere 52 km from the Antioquia capital of Medellín, Montebello graces the landscape as the so-called "miracle of the mountains." This enchanting municipality, built within a mountainous paradise, is recognized as a crucial water source for the department, underscoring its environmental significance.

Nestled within this lush terrain, one discovers Antioquia's oldest chapel and an abundance of crystal clear waters. These waters flow gracefully from the picturesque "la Honda" ravine and "la Miel" river, adding to Montebello's natural charm.

The fertile lands of Montebello teem with a rich variety of ancestral crops, including coffee, avocado, and hydrangeas, alongside beans and maize. These crops demonstrate the area's robust agricultural potential and contribute to its diverse offering.

Montebello's coffee exudes floral and red fruit fragrances. This aromatic profile is complemented by tasting notes of ripe forest fruits, agave, and subtle hints of spices. Its medium, round body with a lively, balanced acidity.
